Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the service:

  • Account data — your email address and name, provided at sign-up.
  • Profile data — your date of birth and life expectancy, which you enter voluntarily to generate your grid.
  • Content you create — milestones, deeds, and comments you post on the platform.
  • Usage analytics — your approximate country (derived from network headers, not GPS), device type, browser name and version. No precise location is stored.
  • Last active date — the timestamp of your most recent sign-in or profile load.

What we do not collect

  • We do not track your precise location or GPS coordinates.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers or marketing pixels.
  • We do not store your payment details (the app is free; there is nothing to pay).

How we use your data

  • To display your personal life grid and milestones.
  • To send you optional weekly reminder emails (only if you opt in).
  • To improve the app using aggregate, anonymised usage statistics.
  • To allow administrators to review content that may violate community guidelines.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the US East (N. Virginia) region. We use encryption at rest (AES-256 via AWS DynamoDB) and in transit (TLS). Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito. We do not have access to your password.

Your rights

You may at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Update or correct your profile data via Settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data permanently via Settings → Delete Account.
  • Opt out of email communications via Settings or the unsubscribe link in any email.

Cookies

We use session cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
