By creating an account or using yourdeath.date, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Your Death Date provides a life visualisation tool, personal milestone tracker, deed logging, and community features. The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
• One account per person. We may remove duplicate or impersonation accounts.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or illegal.
• Spam or repeatedly post the same content in the community.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.
• Post personally identifiable information about others without their consent.

Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post (deeds, milestones, comments). By posting publicly, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the service. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or content.

No medical or psychological advice

Your Death Date is a reflective productivity tool, not a mental health service. If content on this platform causes you distress, please speak to a qualified professional. In a crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of life expectancy estimates (these are statistical averages, not predictions).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Death Date shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
